Customer Service Representative

Job Summary 

As a Customer Service Representative for Exodus Exterminating, you are the "voice of our company". You will have the opportunity to interact with our more than 30,000 customers on a daily basis. You will be tasked with handling inbound and outbound telephone calls, texts, web chats and email(s), fax correspondence (yes we still have some of those!) as well as the occasional walk in customer! 

In many cases, you are making the first impression for our customers. You will help them feel confident that they have called the right place, and that we are the Exterminators best equipped to handle and solve their pest related concerns. All with professionalism and care- because that's the Exodus Way!

At the end of each day you will feel as though you helped many and worked in a positive, encouraging environment alongside a great group of people!

Some of the major job duties/ responsibilities: 

Answering incoming phone calls - Offering great customer service and solutions to every customer you are working with in a calm, empathetic and confident manner. This is the Exodus Way! 

Scheduling appointments and optimizing service routes - You will have a hand in building out all of our Field Technician's routes every day to ensure that they are arriving to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. 

Responding to both emails and text communication – Customer emails and texts are just as important as phone calls and you will have the opportunity to reply to both emails and texts from all new and existing clients to address their needs, schedule appointments, and answer any questions they may have! 

Communicating with our field technicians – Sometimes things don't always go as planned in the field and our technicians need an extra hand! This is where you come in. If one of our technicians calls in or if something arises that needs to get communicated, you are that connection between the field technicians and our customers. Whether its rescheduling an appointment, addressing a new concern, or just helping answer one of our technician's questions, you are that support. Don't worry, they're nice! 

Selling - This position does require some selling. The responsibility of the Customer Service Representative is to offer options and solutions that you believe will help our customers the best, and ensure that the customer feels good about choosing the program that best fits their needs. We aren't here to sell widgets, we are providing customers with solutions to their problems. That's the Exodus Way!


Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 

  • Mainly Monday- Friday 8-5

Supplemental Pay:

  • Sales incentives.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1-3 years (Preferred)
  • Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Scheduling/routing (a plus!)

Requirements:

  • Positive personalities welcomed!
  • Knowledge of general computer skills including keyboarding, Word, and Excel.
  • Good Listening Skills.
  • Strong organizational and communicative abilities.
  • Punctuality a must!!!
