Field Technician (Become an Exterminator!)

Job Summary

Looking to become an exterminator with Exodus? Apply today to join our team of Field Technicians and Apprentice Pesticide Applicators. If you do not already have a technician's license, you will begin as an Apprentice Pesticide Applicator and have the opportunity to earn your license in no time! 

As a Field Technician, you will be taught everything you need to know in the practice of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and The Exodus Way. You will receive ongoing training from our Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) and Field Supervisors as they guide you in this journey to become a licensed exterminator! They will provide you with all of the tools, knowledge, and skills necessary to learn the various pests you will encounter, techniques you will need to resolve pest related issues, and most importantly, how to provide our loyal customers with the highest level of service that embodies The Exodus Way! 

You will be given the opportunity to drive one of our Exodus Exterminating trucks, equipped with top-of-the-line pest control equipment, given an optimized route to your daily service locations, and access to hundreds of resources that will enable you to do your job to the best of your ability! You will meet and interact with customers in both their homes and places of business where you will have the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships and help people resolve all of their pest related needs.

HOURS:

• Monday – Friday: 7:30am-4:30pm or 8am-5pm (overtime depending on work volume)
• Saturdays (during summer):  8am-12pm (depending on work volume)

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Clean NYS Driver’s License
• Great customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to work with 35lb backpack sprayer
• Able to work with 28ft extension ladder
