Published December 19th, 2019 by Jasmine

Clutter, whether it is in your yard or in your home, is attractive to many kinds of pests. Removing clutter is a great resolution to minimize pest infestations.

Trash Cans
Any food or trash, rotting or otherwise, can be a food source for pests.Keep those cans covered. Making this investment can prevent a nasty surprise in the future declutter.

Many insects are drawn in by light. The flying insects that gather near these lights will also attract spiders! To prevent this, replace outside white lights with yellow bulbs, which is less attractive to insects.

Clean Regularly
Crumbs that fall off plates can feed multiple types of pests from mites to cockroaches. Clean periodically under your fridge and on the sides of your oven. This will keep many bugs away. Especially cockroaches.

Store any woodpiles a minimum of 15 feet away from your home. Putting a home and food source for insects and rodents next to your house is never a good idea.
